Terms of Service The company's service terms and conditions contain the following.

Article 1. Purpose
These terms and conditions apply as a member to Master K, an online Korean language education brokerage platform operated by Emergency Education Co., Ltd.
The purpose of using (hereinafter referred to as'service') is to stipulate terms and conditions of use and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the company and users.
Article 2. Terminology
  1. 'Member' refers to a person who has signed up as a member by providing personal information to the company and who can use classes and services provided through the platform. Members are classified as follows.
    • Tutor : A person who provides Korean language classes to students using the service.
    • Student : A person who takes a Korean class to a tutor using the service.
    • Organization operator : An operator member belonging to an institution (organization) that uses the service by signing a separate contract with the company, and refers to a member who manages the service so that students and tutors of the institution can use the service.
    • Institutional Instructor : As a tutor member belonging to the institution, it refers to a member who provides education to the students of the institution.
    • Institutional Student : A student member belonging to an institution and taking education.
  2. 'Non-member' refers to a person who uses part of the service without signing up as a member.
  3. 'User' refers to members and non-members who access the website, application, etc. operated by the company and use the service in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Personal Information Processing Policy The company's service terms and conditions contain the following.

Article 1 (Purpose of Using and Processing Personal Information)
Visang Education Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) appreciates the value of and always makes every endeavor to protect personal information of the users. The Company complies with the laws and regulations related to personal information protection such as the Personal Information Protection Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, and, for internal compliance, has enacted the Personal Information Processing Policy under relevant laws and regulations, which are disclosed on its Internet website and mobile applications so that users can easily view it at any time.
Users may refuse to consent to the collection, use, and provision of personal information if they do not want to. However, it is advised that users who refuse to consent may not avail themselves of all or part of the services provided by the Company.
The Company will process personal information for the following purposes. The personal information processed will not be used for purposes other than the purposes set forth below. If the purpose of processing is changed, the Company will take necessary steps such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  • ① to provide service; education operation/support, educational history management, member management, VOC and etc.
  • ② to carry out member management, confirm the intention to subscribe membership, check the member identity , and prevent any misuse;
  • ③ to develop new services, provide various services, handle inquiries or complaints/disputes, and deliver the general notifications;
  • ④ to improve internal research and evaluation services using data analysis and statistics
  • ⑤ to facilitate information delivery, marketing and advertisement at various marketing events;
Article 2 (Definition of Terminology)
The following terms used in this Policy shall be defined as follows:
  1. master k academy: master k academy refers to a platform built exclusively for the institution of master k service.
  2. ‘Member’ refers to a person who signed up as a member by providing personal information to Master K and can use lessons and services provided by Master K.
  3. ‘Service’ refers to Master K service that users can utilize, regardless of the implemented terminal (including various wired and wireless devices such as PC, mobile, tablet PC, etc.).
  4. ‘Teacher’ refers to person who uses the service to provide Korean language lessons to students.
  5. ‘Student’ refers to person who uses the Service to take Korean lessons from a teacher.
  6. ‘ID’ refers to a combination of letters and numbers configured by a member and approved by the Company for his/her identification and service usage, including his/her e-mail address.
  7. ‘Password’ refers to a combination of letters or numbers configured by the member and approved by the Company to verify the member identity and protect member information.
  8. ‘Paid Service’ refers to various online digital contents and services provided by the Company that can be used for a fee through the Master K service used by members for payment of a fee. This includes information and advertisement posting services.
    1. 1. 8.’IMEI’ (Intel Management Engine Interface) refers to a 15-digit number built in portable mobile terminals, serving as the terminal’s unique serial number (It is encrypted and securely protected.).
  9. ‘Fraudulent Use’ refers to any act prohibited by the terms and conditions for Master K Service provided by the Company or any illegal act defined by law, such as copyright infringement, identity theft, etc.
  10. ‘master k Academy’ refers to a platform built exclusively for B2B service.
Article 3 (Collection and Use of Personal Information)
The Company collects, uses, provides, and destroys personal information in the following manner according to the type of service used. In addition, the Company shall obtain the consent of the user when collecting personal information that can personally identify the user. Whenever there is a change in the personal information processing policy, the Company will always notify users and post such change so that they can be viewed at any time.

      1. Method 1: The user directly inputs the information when registering as a member or applying for service use.
      2. Method 2: The user’s institution/school inputs the information when registering as a member or applying for service use.

    3. 2. The user has the right to refuse the consent to collect and use personal information. However, if you decline your consent, you will not be able to receive the services of the "company" that requires the above information collection.

      • - Service usage record, access log, size, access IP information, application information for using the service, OS type, Internet browser type, screen resolution, other attribute values, etc.

Article 4 (Collection and Use of Personal Information)
  1. After the purpose of collecting and using personal information has been achieved, or if you request withdrawal or withdraw your consent, the "company" will destroy the user's personal information after storing it for a certain period of time (up to 30 days based on the date users complete the learning) to confirm whether the transaction is completed, such as payment of educational expenses and cancellation of the contract.
  2. If personal information must be stored according to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, we will store the personal information of the user during the storage period according to the relevant laws and regulations.
Article 5 (Providing Personal Information to A Third Party)
  1. The Company processes users’ personal information within the scope notified in this Personal Information Processing Policy, and will not use it beyond the purpose of collection or provide it to a third party without the user’s prior consent. However, in the case of providing the member’s personal information to a third party such as affiliate companies in order to provide quality services, the Company will in advance advise the member of the information recipient’s trade name, items of personal information to be provided, purpose of provision, retention period, etc., and take the process to obtain individual consent. Without consent, nothing will be provided, and even in case of a change in the affiliate, etc., the Company will also advise thereof and seek the member’s consent.

  2. If the user consent is given, the personal information of the relevant user will be provided to a third party to the extent necessary for smooth service provision and customer consultation.

  3. The Company will not provide the users’ personal information to a third party in the absence of the relevant user’s consent. However, in this case, the use of the service may be restricted. This is indispensable to ensure high quality and problem-free service provision.

  4. The Company may provide personal information to a third party without the consent of the user if:

    1. 1) The information concerned is pseudonymous data used for preparation of statistics, scientific research, and public record preservation, etc. which does not contain information capable of identifying a specific individuality;

    2. 2) It is inevitable as required by laws or regulations;

    3. 3) An investigative agency requested it for the purpose of investigation pursuant to the procedure and method prescribed by laws and regulations; or

    4. 4) It is required by Article 17 or 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act

Article 6 (Contracting-out of Personal Information Processing)
  1. The Company may contract out personal information processing with the aim at providing enhanced services. The Company has stipulated necessary matters to safeguard the personal information when contracting-out is arranged, in accordance with relevant laws. In addition, in the case of contracting out the processing of personal information, the Company discloses the contents of the contracted-out tasks and the contractor which receives and processes the information (hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”) so that users can easily check the details at any time, and the same applies when the contracted tasks or the Contractor identity have been changed.
  2. The Company contracts out personal information overseas to provide users with the stability of service provision and the latest technology, and store personal information acquired or created from users in the database (physically located in Singapore) owned by Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS). AWS only performs physical management of the server and cannot access the users’ personal information.

Article 7 (Transfer of Personal Information abroad)
The Company may contract out personal information processing with the aim at providing enhanced services.

Article 8 (Retention and Destruction of Personal Information)
  1. The Company destroys the users’ personal information immediately after the expiry of the period of personal information retention for use.
  2. For the purpose of protecting personal information and thereby preventing any harm from leakage of personal information, the Company destroys personal information through the following manners:
    1. 1) Personal information printed on paper is shredded or incinerated for destruction.
    2. 2) Personal information saved in the form of an electronic file is deleted using a technical method that makes it impossible to reproduce the record.
Article 9 (Technical/Administrative Protection Measures for Personal Information)
In processing users’ personal information, the Company takes the following technical/administrative measures to ensure that personal information is processed without being lost, stolen, leaked, altered or damaged. However, the Company shall not be responsible for any issues caused by the leakage of personal information, including without limitation the user ID and password, which is attributable to the user’s negligence or Internet or communication problems.
    1. 1) Password is saved and managed in an encrypted form so that only the password creator knows it, and confirming and changing personal information can only be done by the password creator who knows the password.
    2. 2) The Company is fully committed to preventing hacking or computer viruses attempt to inflict the leakage or damage to users’ personal information. In preparation for damage to personal information, data are backed up from time to time, the latest security updates are installed and technical measures are taken to protect users’ personal information or data from leakage or damage, and personal information is safely transmitted on the network through encrypted communication. Furthermore, the Company uses a firewall system to block unauthorized access from outside, and strives to equip itself with all available technical devices to achieve advanced systemic security.
    3. 3) The Company limits the number of persons in charge of personal information processing and assigns a separate password, which is updated regularly, and provides regular training for the persons in charge and general employees, emphasizing the importance of complying with the Personal Information Processing Policy.
Article 10 (Designation of PI Officer and Manager)
  1. The person in charge of personal information protection (hereinafter referred to as “PI Officer”) is the person tasked with protecting users’ personal information and preventing leakage thereof, who helps users to utilize the services provided by the Company with confidence, and bears responsibility for any accidents resulting from incompliance with matters notified to users in protecting personal information; except that the PI Officer is not responsible for any damage and loss of information due to unexpected accidents such as natural disasters as well as various disputes arising in connection with information provided by users to the Company, notwithstanding that the Company has taken proper measures to ensure the safety.
  2. The Company designates the PI Officer prescribed in the Personal Information Protection Act in the following manner:

Article 11 (Duty of Notification)
Any addition, deletion or modification of the contents of this Personal Information Protection Policy will be notified through the Service’s public announcement at least (7) days prior to the amendment, or immediately if prior notification is difficult under the circumstances.
<Addendum> Effective date
This Personal Information Protection Policy takes effect from 01, 06 , 2021.
